Interplanet Janet is a Schoolhouse Rock! character in the eponymous astronomical lesson short, and one Earth Rock song.
Appearance[]
Janet is a white/cream-skinned alien with puffy lavender hair (able to grow and shrink), an orange rocket body with light blue wings (human like arms underneath or through; it's inconsistent) and a thruster, and is shifted into the shape of a comet.
She is revealed to have human-like toes in Solar Power to the People, her second appearance in a Schoolhouse Rock song outside other media to date (not counting remasters). Her hair color also changes to pink in this song.
Janet is one of the few characters in Schoolhouse Rock to return in a later Schoolhouse Rock video, the others being Mr. Morton returning in The Little Things We Do from Earth Rock, after not having an appearance since his debut song, as well as Bill reappearing at the end of Tyrannosaurus Debt, as a cameo after not appearing at all since I'm Just a Bill, and the conductor that appears on Lester's comic section of the newspaper.
Janet is one of the only original characters to return in Earth Rock, along with Mr. Morton and the Earth.
