Lynn Ahrens (1948-) is a songwriter who wrote some songs for Schoolhouse Rock. She also sang A Noun is a Person, Place, or Thing, No More Kings, The Preamble, Three-Ring Government, and Interplanet Janet, and contributed additional vocals to Interjections!.
Ahrens is a frequent collaborator with composer Stephen Flaherty, with whom she has written the Broadway musicals Once on This Island, Parade, and Ragtime among others, as well as the score for the 1997 film Anastasia and its 2016 stage adaptation. The pair collaborated on the song "Tax Man Max" for Money Rock.
